Restaurants near Villa De Hofnar
- Zé Dias 4 km (17 min walk) or by car. Delicious for lunch (15 euros), but also for evenings.
- Restaurante Ysconderijo Sao Bras de Alportel delicious quality food for a reasonable price.
- Restaurante Raizes 6 km 9 minutes by car. Right across the hill. Delightful restaurant.
- Sabores Campo 4 km 8 minutes by car. Highly recommended for a good price.
- Luis dos Frangos in Sao Bras de Alportel real chicken restaurant, is known for its grilled chicken. Almost always busy at noon and in the evening.
- Restaurant AVENIDA 1 km 9 minutes by car Sao Bras de Alportel simple chicken restaurant with lovely people of course also other dishes. Comparable to Luis dos Frangos. But more personal.
- Beira Serra 8 km 11 minutes by car. Steak on the stone grill is recommended. Very nice.
- Horta restaurant. 7 km, 10 minutes by car.
Restaurants in Albufeira (old town)
- Flavours (has afternoon sun) also nice for happy hour and delicious food afterwards.
- Restaurante 54 (around the corner above towards the sea)
- Bistro (unfortunately closed in the winter)

Nice places / Beaches
- Praia da Galé Fantastic views and delicious food. Can be visited by car. Also a nice beach for swimming.
- Algarve shopping is fun to visit in Guia: (10 minutes by car. A nice shopping center, with a small Ikea and an outlet is Mar Shopping (a little further away) https://www.marshopping.com/algarve/pt/Here you can spend a day shopping and then have a nice meal. There are several places to eat so enjoy.
Golf courses
Golf courses near Albufeira (Hofnar Apartments & Boa Vista)
Salgados Golf is located in Herdade dos Salgados, close to Albufeira. The course is next to Salgados Beach and Salgados Lagoon Nature Reserve. The course is actually the connection between the dunes and the sea. A special location!
Golf courses near Sao Bras de Alportel (Villa Hofnar)
Also near São Bràs de Alportel there is a wide choice of golf courses. For example, those of Quinta da Ria and Castro Marim are spectacular. The former is located in a nature reserve and the latter offers beautiful views of the Guadiana river and Spain in the distance.
